Haley & Brad | Hayward Backyard Covid Wedding

It’s hard to write any words about your childhood best friend that *actually* convey what you mean. So I’ll keep it short and sweet! Haley & Brad were planning a big 2020 wedding and had to alter plans when Covid restrictions hit the wedding industry.

They opted to celebrate in their own yard – and made it so beautiful! It was relaxed, fun, and sweet all in one. Before the ceremony started, Haley relayed how glad she was they were having an intimate wedding. Although they would miss seeing their whole community, they would be able to spend lots of time with their family!

Because I’m sure those currently planning an intimate wedding may ask, here are some details!

✨ The ceremony was set to start at 5:00, although most guests/family members arrived early to help setup.

✨ Right after the ceremony, we took a few photos then the bride & groom joined their reception. We fit in family photos after everyone had eaten dinner!

✨They used the patio as a dance floor, and had borrowed an amplified sound system for the ceremony and dance music. Chairs were also rented, and a talented family member made the tables and ceremony hexagon!

Ok- back to the sappy stuff real quick. Haley is the “thing 2” to my “thing 1” and we have so many photos of us in wedding dresses as little girls! Nothing can rival the joy of knowing someone you love is happy. I’m so excited my fellow tiny terrorist (names I’m sure no one but a few understands) found her soulmate. Enjoy some highlights from their wedding! 🙂
