Jer & Christina are probably the most fun, down to earth parents I’ve ever seen. And Amelia is adventurous, free-spirited, and so stinkin’ cute. I had so much fun hanging out with them a couple of weeks ago! Jeremy had just performed a wedding that I also did the wedding photography for, so it was fun getting his family in front of the camera!
Amelia wasn’t *super* stoked about taking pictures, and I so appreciate Jer and Christina having fun through the tears. (Although, as you’ll see, Amelia gave us a LOT of smiles!). One thing I like to tell mama’s not to stress about family pictures. It’s pretty normal for kids to want to run away from the camera, or for them to do the opposite of “look at the camera and smile!”. The key is just finding what makes them happy – and photographing that. In Amelia’s case, she *loved* being thrown in the air, picking up sticks, and holding her parents’ hands. So that’s what we took pictures of. And now there will forever be pictures of the things that she loves most.
