Summer Wedding at Shadelands Ranch Historical Museum | Ashley and Darien

Ashley and Darien’s summer wedding at Shadelands Ranch Historical Museum was one for the books! Beautiful light and sun (with thunderstorms forecasted shortly before), a lively group, and an incredible team made this day as awesome as it was.

I met Ashley + Darien last year and we did their engagement photos at Filoli. They are so fun and easy to work with! We even managed to get some portraits with their littlest mini Dashund loves- Dasher and Daisy! They totally stole the show.

Despite some last minute hiccups, their day flowed so well and had so many moments of laughter! Morgan from Savant Garde Events and her crew worked behind the scenes to make the day happen.

After a light-hearted and sweet ceremony, we completed some family portraits and the couple got to go to cocktail hour. It’s a growing trend, wanting to go to cocktail hour, and it requires a bulk of the portraits to be taken before the ceremony. I always recommend this anyways! Ashley and Darien shared a sweet then silly dance as their first dance. With some fun toasts and a popping dance floor, they ended the night partying the way they dreamed of!
