What do a treehouse, the Stanford fight song, and a self-officiating ceremony all have in common? They were all party of Kaylee and Zack’s summer Thomas Fogarty Winery Wedding!
It was a beautiful summer day and Kaylee and Zack’s guests were raving about the location as they arrived. Nestled on the iconic skyline boulevard amongst the redwood trees, Thomas Fogarty is a vineyard and winery with sweeping Bay Area views. The ceremony space overlooks the San Jose metropolis and the pavilion feels like a treehouse in a vineyard. How unique is this venue?!
Before their ceremony, Kaylee and Zack shared a first look followed by bridal party photos. Many of their bridal party members are or were former roommates in their home. It became evident that their house has hosted legendary get togethers, parties, and celebrations.
As mentioned above their ceremony was self-officiated. Didn’t know that was a thing? Me neither! (It’s also called self-solemnization, and you can read about it here.) After walking down the aisle, they thanked their guests, read their vows, and pronounced themselves as married!
The reception held funny speeches, spectacular views, and a dance floor that didn’t stop. Kaylee and some of her friends had a little dance move competition on the dance floor which was super fun! Zack and his move shared a fun dance on the floor and there was lots of laughter. The night ended with the Stanford Fight Song and everyone jumping around. What a night!
We did both photo and video for this wedding. Click here to see their short trailer!
