While he was at San Francisco State, Robbie moved into an apartment with a roommate he found on Craigslist. Due to her long commute from San Jose, Niloo was going to school part-time. The Craigslist gods knew what they were doing…because Niloo was friends with Robbie’s new roommate! When Niloo’s friend moved out, she was able to move in and go to school full time. They also fell in love along the way…let’s not forget that important detail 😉 When you get to know someone in that way, there are no gimmicks and no false-advertisement. They were able to fall in love with each other just they way they were; what a beautiful way to start a relationship!
New Years Eve in New York City had been on both of their bucket lists. Last year, they went for it and bought their tickets. They got all dressed up to celebrate New Years Eve, and Robbie had a carriage waiting for them. Right as he popped the question, the carriage driver turned around and snapped pictures…he was in on it! Newly engaged, they went out and celebrated the end of the year and the beginning of an even more exciting one (is there a more epic way to celebrate your engagement than in Times Square on New Years Eve?!).
Robbie and Niloo are fun and relaxed, and they fit together just like they were created for one another. They braved low temperatures and wind for our photos…and they looked so good while doing it! We started at the Legion of Honor Museum which is the perfect balance of elegance and simplicity (and coverage for when it rains!). Then we headed to my favorite hidden gem in The City…the enchanted forest! The sun beamed down on us…along with some rain drops 😉
Robbie and Niloo,
Thank you for trusting me with your photos! I can’t wait to celebrate your MARRIAGE in July!! Don’t forget to savor this season of excitement; it goes by all too quickly. See you in 4 short months! <3
XOXO,
Julia
