Cara and Chris | Mt. Tamalpais Engagement Session

Her neighbor was preparing her for the absolute worst. They were meeting some friends to go on an underground adventure, and Evan had convinced Cara that they had to be careful because of how dangerous it was. He told her she absolutely had to wear a long sleeve shirt, or her arms would get burned. When they arrived, Chris, who had done this many times, said “oh, you wore long sleeves. That’s a pretty good idea.” When they told me this story, Chris asked Cara “And have I  changed that much?”. Her answer was no; in their 4 years together, he’s still easy-going Chris.

Although they first met that night, Chris and Cara’s path crossed many times at UCLA after that. Not only was her neighbor Evan good friends with Chris, but her study partner was roommates with Chris! On top of that, they saw each other frequently playing basketball in the gym. At a school with almost 50,000 people in it, fate had a plan to bring them together. They attended a concert on the lawn one night and he brought her a muffin…the rest, you could say, is history 🙂

Although they were nervous when we first started our session, they were completely comfortable with each other. You could see the love in their eyes when they looked at each other.  I cannot wait to celebrate their wedding in June! <3

Thank you for trusting me with your photos! After watching you two together, I can see how you were made for one another. I know your marriage will be tender, adventurous, and fun! I’ll see you guys in 3 months…and after the wedding, we’ll have to do a double date in an airplane 😉
