Ardenwood Historic Farms Wedding

Summer Ardenwood Historic Farms weddings are my favorite! Cheddelyn and Rainier enjoyed warm August weather and loads of fun with their bridal party! They had a church ceremony (yay for air conditioning!) and then we traveled to Fremont for their reception at Ardenwood Historic Farms.

A little tip for those planning a church ceremony with a reception at Ardenwood: plan to do your portraits at Ardenwood! You can take advantage of the beautiful greenery and light while your guests fill up on hors d’oeuvres before your grand entrance.

Cheddelyn and Rainier love having fun with their friends. They made that a priority on the wedding day! They also LOVE their puppies, who were unfortunately unable to be attend the wedding. Cheddelyn’s sister, who baked their cake, made sure to incorporate both dogs in a super cute way! Personal details like that help make weddings SO special and unique. Ardenwood has a beautiful sunflower garden and we were able to use it one last time before it was cut down for the season!

I will never forget this wedding because of how caring and fun Cheddelyn and Rainier were! And Cheddelyn’s dress was to die for- that long train coupled with the off-the-shoulder sleeves made such an iconic combo! Despite not having a dance floor due to covid concerns, these two created a fun reception for their guests filled with lots of quality time and conversation.
