You’re going to love Kim and Alvin’s summer Wedgewood San Ramon Wedding!! It was such a joyful day; so many fun elements, so many fun people, and one married couple at the end of the day (the most important part!) I love working at Wedgewood San Ramon because the main ceremony site has beautiful golden light that shines through the weeping willow tree. We had great weather for the day and got to escape the heat for a bit during their church ceremony.
Kim and Alvin are both healthcare professionals, so it was amazing to celebrate their wedding and them as people during such a trying year! They had such a fun bridal party that made the whole day feel like a party. The best thing on a wedding day is surrounding yourself with people you can have a good time with – and that’s exactly what they did! It makes all those “in-between” moments so memorable. The dance floor was incredibly fun; Kim, her sister, and their dad did a TikTok dance! Their faux-exit made a great activity for all the guests (if you’ve never heard of a faux-exit, it’s a great way to still do the sparklers, bubbles, or glow sticks without actually having to leave!)
I loved working with Kim and Alvin (and their friends and family!) because they were so welcoming and fun. They were able to take the traditional elements of a wedding reception and tweak them to make them SO animated and lively. Wedgewood is a great reception venue because of how roomy it is – perfect for those with a large guest count and/or those that want a roaring dance floor.
