Jesse + Marissa | Wedgewood Brentwood Wedding

Oh my goodness, guys! My heart is so happy writing this blog post. Marissa and Jesse’s Wedgewood Brentwood wedding was absolute magic. It was so hard narrowing down pictures for this post because there were so many special moments, so many pretty details, and a ton of laughter to capture throughout the day.

 

Marissa and Jesse’s engagement session was one for the books. A typical engagement session lasts 90 minutes and is usually in 1-2 locations. The three of us decided to carpool out to San Francisco for their engagement shoot, and we spent the whole afternoon laughing as we drove place to place. We went out to dinner mid-session, and by the time we got home it had been 5 hours! I feel so blessed that my job entails building relationships…and I feel especially blessed when I have relationships like this one!

 

Marissa and Jesse’s wedding felt just like being at a friend’s wedding…I guess that’s because they have both become my friends! September 10th truly reflected all of the work and thought they put into their wedding day. As the best man put it, “Marissa, you did an amazing job planning this wedding. Jesse, thanks for showing up!” 🙂 Their personality and relationship shined through  all the details- big and small. It’s so fun to learn on a wedding day the significance of everything around you- from the mascara the bride wears to the lockets attached to the bouquet.  As both the maid of honor and the best man stated in their toasts, it’s obvious that Marissa and Jesse are meant for each other.

 

Marissa and Jesse, thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be there on your special day. Enjoy looking at the pictures…then go jump in the Jamaican waters and have a margarita for me! 😉
