David and Emily | San Francisco Engagement Session

David and Emily put the sweet in high school sweethearts! David contacted me before he even proposed to schedule engagement pictures…such a thoughtful groom!! I had been watching Facebook to see when it would happen…and I think Facebook blew up a little when they announced their engagement 🙂

Earlier this month David and Emily took a trip with her family to Santa Cruz. They set their stuff on the beach next to a camp of umbrellas and tents. Emily thought it was kind of weird they were so close to all the tents…but they went on their way and enjoyed time walking around together. When they came back to their spot, she realized HIS family was occupying the army of tents…and their families had set up an arbor with tons of flowers! Their family was right there to celebrate after she said yes to the most important question he ever asked. When it comes to proposals, I think having the families there is the sweetest thing a groom can plan!

These two had me laughing during our entire time together. They’re silly, fun, sweet, and so, so perfect for each other. They told me before we started that they didn’t think they were photogenic…but they were totally model status the entire time! You’ll see for yourselves 🙂
