“I don’t understand how such a small person can have such a big heart”. After trying to finish the vows he had written, Chi said “forget it” and just started speaking from the heart. He pointed to his hands and told her, “the day we got engaged I promised to build you a house with these hands, and I’m going to keep my promise.”
Christine’s vows? She went a little different route J She had some fun promising small things like letting him pick his nose and roll it into a ball. She promised to not roll her eyes when he did his Vietnamese rap…AND THEN SHE RAPPED AT THE ALTER. It was pretty spectacular J She finished by vowing to be true to him and him alone.
What touched my heart the most was seeing Chi’s emotions throughout the day. When I asked him if he was ready to see his bride for the first time, he jokingly told his buddies to grab the car because he was so nervous. Just wait until you see what that emotion turned into below!! Seriously, the sweetest first look EVER! He bounced between tears and the biggest smile you’ve ever seen ALL day. He lost it when he danced with his mom…and of COURSE she couldn’t hold it in when she saw that!! If that doesn’t describe a great wedding day, I don’t know what does.

Your wedding day was so much FUN! Keep making each other laugh, keep being each other’s best friend, and always keep in mind why you fell in love with each other eight years ago (eight and a half if we’re being exact, right?!) You put so much thought into the details of your wedding day, and I know that intentionality will continue into your marriage. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such and amazing celebration!
