Frequently Asked Questions

I have PDF guides for engagement sessions and portrait sessions! Once we book your session, I will send it to you and walk you through picking outfits. I'm always available to share advice or answer wardrobe questions.

- What should I wear to my session?

- Are the wedding packages flexible?

- What does it cost to add an extra hour to our wedding package?

Absolutely! You'll find that I'm a flexible and easy-going person. For example, if you don't need an engagement session, we can exchange that for an hour of wedding day coverage.

Hours 9 and 10 are $300 each, and hours 11-12 are $500 each. I do not shoot more than 12 hours on any given day.

- How long does it take to get pictures back?

Family session galleries are delivered within 1-2 weeks. Wedding galleries are delivered within 3 weeks.

- How do we pick a location?

Newborn sessions take place in your home. Family and engagement sessions can be wherever! If you don't have a special spot, I will make suggestions and we'll pick a location you like.

- When should we schedule our engagement session?

If possible, I suggest we schedule engagement sessions for the warmer months, or we find a location that's sheltered. This way we don't have to deal with the uncertainty of weather, and you can be comfortable without having to wear lots of layers.

- Can you help us with the wedding day timeline?

Included in my Bridal Guide are a few different timelines. You'll receive the Guide once you book. I encourage my couples to customize the timeline to fit their need, but it makes a great starting point (and it helps you understand how long each part of the day takes).

- What makes you different than other photographers?

My clients say I am easy-going and I make the entire process enjoyable. You will feel VERY comfortable in front of the camera, despite how you may feel about it now. I consider my client's my friends and I hope to continue relationships beyond the wedding day or family session. Also, I probably know more words to Weird Al songs than any other photographer ;)
