why I do what I do

My first love was photography! Growing up in a house with albums full of pictures propelled a desire in me to create more memories. After my mom got her first camera, I quickly seized the position of family shutterbug and have never looked back! It ignited a passion to photograph everything, which I eventually narrowed down to wedding and family photography.

My motivation is this remarkable man pictured. The greatest blessing of my life is our marriage and I look forward to a long life of sharing our love. During our engagement season, we were blessed to have many incredible people pour their support into our lives and invest in our upcoming marriage. This allowed us to begin our union together in the best light, completely centered on one another and the Lord. My goal, as your wedding photographer, is to not only be there for you on your special day, but walk beside you while investing in your marriage and future together, just like others did for us.

In more practical terms, our wedding photos mean the world to us. Every time I look through these tangible reminders, I revisit the feelings I felt on our actual day. They positively affect my attitude toward Greg on those hard days, which can make a world of difference. In years to come, they will preserve the legacy we have built together. My belief is that wedding photos are more than just photos. They are the solid evidence of your love and legacy.

walking into a house and suddenly knowing you're home." -r.i.d.
